About Penza CF

Penza community foundation “Civil Unity” was registered in 2002 by the group of private persons. The registration of the foundation became a result of the development of local community, business and NGOs.

Our mission is to promote the decision of socially significant problems of inhabitants of the Penza community and decrease in social intensity by competitive financing for the best social projects of noncommercial organizations.

Penza CF serves the territory of the Penza region. The population of the region is 1,5 million people. The most serious problems of the community are in the sphere of the support of children's and youth programs, protection of the environment, struggle against social illnesses (such as an alcoholism, addiction to narcotics, AIDS). The grant program of the foundation is directed on the decision of the above-mentioned problems, and also directed on the making civil initiatives more active. The scholarship program and Youth Bank of the foundation are directed on the support of socially active young people. The target charitable programs of the foundation are directed on the changing of the social situation in the community.
